To The Ladson Family,
I offer my condolences for your loss.
Carl was a classmate from the first through the twelfth grades in Rankin. I learned of your loss from another classmate.
Carl was always a solid student, respectful and very interested in learning.
I was so proud to learn that he continued his search for knowledge and that he had served as a role model for young people.
His family certainly had a lot to be proud of.

Carl Ladson, my favorite uncle you will be missed. You were a great role model for me as I was growing up. You taught me how to be a better christian, a better ballplayer, and a better person. You praised me when I excelled and you disciplined me when it was needed.  You are one of very few people who helped me get to where I am today both personally and professionally.  You lead by example and I am honored to be your nephew.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Mr. Ladson,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and secondly for when you were a teacher helping countless young realize their potential. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Mr. Carl was a wonderful father-in-law and I truly loved him and will surely miss him.  My daughters regret they didn't get to see him before his passing but the love he had for them has been expressed by me and their father, Robert.   Hopefully, the granddaughters will get a chance to see their Grandmommie Ruby one day soon.  Sincerely, Cheryl (Dionne) Ladson.

Brother Ladson was one of the first christian men I met after my conversion in 1967. He was a good example and I learned a lot from him. My heart and my prayers to the family.

Mr. Ladson was a true man of God. I count it a true blessing in my life to have known him.  His love for the Lord and his wonderful family speak volumes about the Christian man and leader he was.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Blessings to each of you!

Carl was always a great Christian and friend. I was only about 5 when I met him (and you, Ruby), and I always considered you great examples. You're missed here at Eastwood, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
