

Clif was born on January 9th, 1943 in Llano, TX. to Dalton and Effie Harris. Clif served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years and attained the rank of Sr. Master Sergeant. He was also a 1st Sergeant to the younger troops and helped guide them to their future. Upon his retirement, Clif became a trainer with the Department of Public Safety and traveled the state of Texas for 16 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He hunted in Alaska and Texas for many years. Clif enjoyed being outdoors anytime he could. He loved watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys through thick and thin. He always enjoyed spending time with his family on Sundays that included swimming, food and so many great stories.
Clif's (also known as PawPaw to so many) wonderful personality brought warmth and joy to those he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. He never went anywhere without making a friend and sharing a story. Clif's memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy will live on for generations to come, inspiring those around him with his kindheartedness, generosity, and unforgettable spirit.
Clifford leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Lynn Harris, Three sons: Duane (Kim) Harris, Todd (Lori) Harris, David (Debbie) Weers, Daughter: Lisette Clemons, Grandchildren: Darryl Anderson, Lacey Clemons, Kody Weers, Ryan Harris, Kasea Harris, Ty Graham, Jackson Harris, Great Grandchildren: Conner Anderson, Adelynn Weers.

A visitation for Clif will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024. Funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 all at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Committal service with Military Honors will follow from 11:15 a.m. to 11:35 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
