Cornelius Powell, age 87, of Wasilla, Alaska passed away on Sunday February 17, 2019. Cornelius was born August 23, 1931 in Mobile, AL.

Cornelius is survived by his two sons, Kevin and James Powell, and numerous extended family members.

A visitation for Cornelius will be held Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A graveside service will occur Monday, February 25, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209.
