CW3 Benito Delgado Jr. (U.S.Army, Retired)

CW3 Benito Delgado Jr. died on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Benito was born on February 24, 1953 to Vera and Benito Delgado Sr. in San Antonio, Texas. Benito served in the United States Army for many years and retired as a CW3. He earned Meritorious Service medal, Army Commendation Medal, Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal w/Clasp, Bronze, 4 Loops, National Defense Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star, Southwest Asia Service Medal w/3 Bronze Service Stars, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Non-Commissioned Office Professional Development Ribbon w/Numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon w/ Numeral 3. Benito was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Mrs. Teresa Delgado; Son, Edward Delgado; Daughter Erica (husband, Bryan) Lopez; grandchildren; Garrett Delgado, Elijah and Elyssa Lopez; brother, William Hartwell. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. On Wednesday, February 25, 2015 a viewing will be held 8:00 A.M. at Colonial Funeral Home then depart in procession to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
