He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on August 4, 1994 to Rhonda Serna and Daniel Serna Sr.
Daniel was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Daniel was kind, generous, and honest. He loved his sports teams; The Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Pistons, and The Boston Red Sox.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather; Juan G DeLeon Jr.
He is survived by his father; Daniel Serna Sr. His mother; Rhonda Serna. His 2 sisters; Laura and Lisa Serna. His brother; Ruben Serna. His 2 nieces; Alanna and Mila Haynes, and his grandmother; Aurora DeLeon.
The Serna and DeLeon family wishes to express our sincere appreciation for all the prayers, phone calls, visits, and many other acts of kindness shown during this time.
Daniel will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

A visitation for Daniel will be held from 5:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 with recitation of the Holy Rosary from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 at St Monica Catholic Church, 501 North St, Converse, TX 78109 followed by a Graveside Service at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery #2,15771 I-35 N, Selma, TX 78154.
