CPO. David Adcock U.S. Navy (Retired), age 76 of Live Oak passed away November 21, 2010. He was born April 30, 1934 in Truscott, Texas. He retired from the U.S. Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bennie and Thelma. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Vicky Adcock; sons, Daniel and wife Laura, Dante and wife Yenny; daughters, Donna and husband Jose, Shermaine and husband Val; grandchildren, Matthew, Emma, Lizzie, DJ, Angelina, Adri, Javi, Bella and Teo. Visitation will begin Tuesday November 23 at 5:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday November 24 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma.

Arrangements under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home, Universal City, TX.

Dear Friends and Family of Mr. David Adcock:

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time.

As Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom.

His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.
