Deana Watson

Deana Watson was born in Waco, Texas on November 24,1973. She grew up in Bellmeade, Texas, where she attended LaVega High School, graduating in 1991. In 1999 she met her husband, Michael. In 2000, she moved to San Antonio, where she started her over twenty- year career with the Edwards Aquifer Authority. She and Michael were married on December 30th, 2000. They had two children together, Maddie and David. On August 26, 2021, she was called home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Dean Youngblood. She is survived by her Husband, Michael; her daughter, Maddie; Her Son, David; her mother, Debbie Hansen; her grandmother, Anetha Hill; her step- mother, Cindy Youngblood. her brother, Jay, and his Wife Shauna; Her Brother Dusty, and his Wife Jenn; Her Mother and Father In- laws Karen and Butch Watson; her sister-in- law Kristen Watson; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd. Universal City, TX. The funeral service for Deana will be 10:00 AM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 308 Mt. Calvary Drive, San Antonio, TX 78209. She will be laid to rest following the service at Holy Cross Cemetery, San Antonio.
