She is survived by her son, Phillip Mercer and daughter-in-law, Velma, of Buda, Texas, her sisters Susan Alexander of Converse and Patricia Davis of Cleburne, Texas, and her beloved grandson, the light of her life, Caeden Mercer of Buda, plus nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.

A loving and caring protector, supporter, travel companion, confidant, partner in crime, and cheerleader, Debbie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Debbie’s sudden absence from our lives leaves a gaping hole.
