Debbie was born in Okinawa, Japan on November 15, 1959, to parents, Lucille and Daniel P. Licht Sr.
Debbie graduated from MacArthur High School and worked as a dental assistant for more than 20 years. After that, she worked at H-E-B for 16 years. Debbie loved the outdoors and sitting on her back porch with Greg, watching the dogs and the hummingbirds. She loved fishing and going to the coast. Debbie was also fond of Mexican food. She was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic grade school, which ignited her love for Jesus Christ.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 25 years, as of March 11, Gregory Moore and their dogs, Snickers and Ruger, who were like children to her. She leaves her 97-year-old mother, Lucille Licht. Debbie is also survived by Stacy. Although Debbie was not her mother, Stacy was her daughter by the love that she showed. Her sister, Camille Licht Huddleston (Michael E. Huddleston Sr.); nephew, Michael Huddleston Jr., niece, Caresa Huddleston Gravis (Joey), who were both like her own children; and great aunt to Olive Gallner, are all left to honor legacy.
She is preceded in death by, her brother, Danny Licht and her father, Daniel P. Licht Sr.
Debbie had a heart of gold. She bought joy and wonderful laughter to all she met. She was generous, loving, kind and thoughtful. Her family came first. Greg, her mom, and everyone within her family circle.
If unconditional love exists, she would be the perfect representation. Those that knew her said that she had a laugh that was contagious. My angel has been called home to do the work she does best: spread love, hope and happiness. Debbie touched so many lives in the short time that she was with us. She will be missed by all that crossed her path, knowing that now she is watching over us from heaven and shining her light down on us.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Goodchild, Carl Hayden, Chris McKnight, Joe Coldway, John Gianotti, Kenny McLeod, Kevin Berentsen, and Michael Huddleston Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to all family, friends, H-E-B, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
