At an early age, Don’s love for talking to people around the world begin on the weekends with the call letters K5alk. He also enjoyed going to Rockport for fun and fishing.
Don worked and retired from Southwest Research after 36 years of proud and dedicated service. It was where he was able to travel the world and make many new friends. After retirement, Don and Joyce built their lake view home at Canyon Lake, Texas.
Don is survived by his wife, Joyce; his sister, Sandi Mayer; his stepdaughter, and his two children.
A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13th, from 4PM to 7PM.
