Dora Isabel Fortune of Cibolo passed away on January 26, 2015 at the age of 91. She was born on December 9, 1923 in Panama City, Panama to Ernesto and Castalina (Vega) Morato. She is preceded in death by her husband John B. Fortune; daughters Linda De La Fuente, Bertha Martin; and grandson Christopher John Brun. She is survived by her children Betty Brun (husband Richard – deceased), John B. Fortune, Jr. (wife Charlotte), Robert L. Fortune (wife Shirley), Gladys Vanderpool (husband Phil); grandchildren Debbie Pulawa, Ricky Brun, Jr., Teresa Aviquetero, Annette Becker, Daniel Fortune, Robert Lee Fortune, Jr., Tracy Omlie, Wesley Fortune, Jeffrey Fortune, Jodie Fortune; many great and great great grandchildren; sisters Amelia Cuevas, Don Pope, and Betty Pope. Visitation will be held in the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel Monday, February 12, 2015 prior to the 12:15 p.m. Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
