Dora Lily Sifuentes

Dora Lily Adame Renaud de Sifuentes left this world to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was born on August 18, 1949 and passed away on July 28, 2026. We will see her again if we are born again and have a personal relationship with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Dora is preceded in death by her father Timoteo Adame and mother Estella Renaud Adame, her two brothers Noe R. Adame and Roland H. Adame, and one sister Rebecca E. Dunham, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Dora is survived by her loving brother, Reynaldo Adame of San Antonio, Texas; her brother, Joe Adame and his wife, Cissy, of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her sister, Patricia Gonzales and her husband, Gregorio, of San Antonio, Texas.

She is also survived by her beloved daughter, Rebecca King of Converse, Texas; her grandsons, Andrew Henderson and his wife, Kaprice, of Converse, Texas, along with their children, Avonte and Karianna; Avery Henderson and his wife, Cierra, of New Braunfels, Texas, along with their children, Aiden and Amaya; and Amar Henderson of Converse, Texas. She is further survived by her granddaughters, Genesis Bailey and Trinity Bailey, both of Converse, Texas, as well as several cherished nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

She had great love for God, family and country.

Dora was born in Raymondville, Texas and lived over 70 years in Corpus Christi, TX. She was living presently in Converse, TX with her daughter Rebecca and loved living near her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dora graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1967. Attended Del Mar College and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Corpus Christi (now Texas A&M at Corpus Christi) in 1994, receiving a degree in Elementary Education with an additional Kindergarten Endorsement and Bilingual Endorsement. She retired from West Oso Independent School District with 26 years of service. She also taught 2 years in Robstown, Texas. In total, she worked for more than 30 years in education.

Dora was very proud of her heritage. Her ancestors were from Spain and Indigenous Americans (Mexican Americans). She loved her cats and dogs, but was an animal lover for all furry animals.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dora's life on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148.
