Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Alfred Hernandez; two daughters, Mary Ann Colley and Laura Hernandez Morlet. She is survived by four children, Gina Newton, Alfred Hernandez, Michael Hernandez and Barbara Olsen; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and 1 great-great- grandchild.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 25, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, with a Rosary service to begin at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Hernandez will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at St. Monica Catholic Church, 501 North St, Converse. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Alfred, following the mass at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio.
