I was so saddened to hear about my Aunt Dorthey's passing.
She was the last of my dad Luther's siblings. My mother died when I was 3 months old and Aunt Dorthey was like the mother I didn't have.
It wasn't until I was reunited with her 39 years later, that I found out that she and her husband Bill wanted to adopt me.
I have so many loving memories of my aunt and those will live on with me forever.
My prayers go out to Robert, Buddy, Shirley and Cathie. Aunt Dorthey was a very special "Texan" lady. She had a long life and her footsteps will be forever printed in our hearts. She will be missed.
I will see you all at the memorial, God willing. Love and hugs to the family.
