Mrs. Elaine Ann (Brehm) Marbach

Elaine was born to Edgar and Christine Brehm on March 18th, 1933 in Converse, Texas. She grew up in the Schertz/Cibolo area and attended Schertz-Cibolo High School. She was a mighty Buffalo Cheerleader and graduated in 1950. Elaine married Howard W. Marbach, Jr. on September 13th, 1952 and welcomed 7 children.

Elaine is survived by her husband Howie of 67 years and 9 months, and their seven children: Ricky Marbach and Beatrice Huber; Jeffrey and Tammy Marbach; Pamela and Kenny Riedel; Veronica and Delbert Stavinoha, Christie and Roby Loosier, Vance and Christy Marbach, and Kira and Jason Mooney. As well as, 19 Grandchildren and spouses, 18 Great Grandchildren, sisters-in-law Mary Dunivan, Nita Marbach, and Jacquie Marbach, nieces and nephews, and a multitude of friends.

Nothing made Elaine happier then spending time with all her family and friends. This is probably why she took care of so many children and dearly loved all of them. She never knew a stranger. Everyone she met

became her family. She was an avid baker and was famous for her chocolate cake, cookies, and her coffee cake and baking for every occasion brought her true joy. Listening and dancing to polka music, especially Molly B always made her heart happy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 3PM with the Rosary recited at 4PM. The Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 15th at 10:30 AM. Both services will be held at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Converse, TX. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #1.

The family would like to thank Brooke, Michelle, Patricia, and Naomi with Kindred Hospice for their genuine love and care over the past few months.
