Esperanza (Hope) Ramirez, age 64 of Universal City passed away June 17, 2011. She was born in August 26, 1946 in Schertz, Texas to Secundino and Abita (Vidaurri) Ramirez. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her sister, Audelia Ramirez; brothers, Simon Ramirez and wife Dolores and Rudolfo Ramirez and wife Frances E.; niece, Penelope Ramirez; nephews, Mark Ramirez, Adam Ramirez, and Maverick Ramirez; great nieces, Tuesday, Brianna, and Avi; great nephew, Christian; nieces, Anna Gwin and husband Bruce and Barbara Janine Barrett; nephews, Robert Ramirez and Michael Ramirez; great nieces, Taylor Watkins and Ashley McDonald and husband Brian; great great nephew, Carter McDonald. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, June19, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 20, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2.
