Fannie Mae Myers

Fannie Mae Ivory of Schertz, Texas passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the age of 86. She was born September 1st, 1928 to Johny Boy Ivory and Ella Mae Coleman in Florida. She was raised by her Grandmother "Mama" Coleman.

She modeled after high school and always loved to bake.

She met and married Harvey D. Myers Jr. in April, 1953 with whom she travelled Europe visiting France, Germany and Greece while he was serving his country in the Air Force. After retiring here in San Antonio they made this their home.

While traveling with her husband she had her own business catering and baking. She also at that time was busy raising her six children. She was a loving Mother to more than her own children and helped raise/babysit many of the neighborhood children here in Schertz well into her 80s only stopping when arthritis made it too hard to get around.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and her oldest daughter Christine.

She is survived by her children, Craig Myers of Schertz, Angela Myers of San Antonio, Timothy and Tina Myers of Schertz, Jerry Myers and Norma Stewart of San Antonio, Harvey and Eva Myers III of Florida, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Absent from the body, but present with the Lord. We will hold her in our hearts and remember her with love forever.
