Florence Baul Patterson

Our beloved Mother Florence Baul Armsted Patterson was born October 25, 1925 in the city of Camden, N.J. While suffering a stroke several years ago, she fought courageously to regain her mobility and independence.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Elijah Milton Baul, & the late Florence Garner Baul.

Mother Florence Patterson gave of herself serving as a nurse for many years.

Mother Patterson’ lived a full life and was preceded in death by her beloved children: Bryson C. Armsted (deceased) & James Elijah Armsted (deceased).

Mother Florence beloved siblings, her Sisters: Julia E. Garnett (deceased), Elizabeth B. Hamiltonl (deceased) and her Brother: Elijah M. Baul III. (deceased), also preceded her in death.

Mother Florence Patterson was twice married and widowed by her late husband, Mr. Henry B. Patterson (deceased). Her first husband was Bryson C. Armsted (deceased).

Mother Florence Patterson is survived by her nieces, Denise Berry of San Antonio and Theresa Chapman, also of San Antonio, whom provided care for her in the final months of her life. She also is survived by her grandchildren: Terry Bryson Armsted, Darnell Armsted, & Danielle Armsted Wright.

We "her church family”' at The Center of Worship, witnessed Mother Florence give her life wholly and completely unto the Lord. Our dearest mother Florence served faithfully as The Center of Worship church Mother, spreading Gods love to all she came in contact with. She will forever be remembered here at The Center of Worship. A lending program (Mother’s Purse) will be started in her honor for those whom temporary items, until more permanent items can be obtained. This is what Mother Patterson wanted.

A Visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00 P.m. to 9:00 P.M., at Colonial Funeral Home. Her Service will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 10:00 A.M., at The Center of Worships, located at 7527 Kitty Hawk, San Antonio, Texas, 78217. Interment will take place at Meadow Lawn Memorial Park at 12:00 P.M.

Mother Florence we will miss you dearly, But we know we will be with you in the eternal life to come.
