

Col. (Ret.) Frank H. Grossman, 91, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2016. He was born June 19, 1925 in Rocheport, Missouri, the eldest of four children of Frank D. Grossman and Marjorie Welbern Grossman. He is survived by his eternal sweetheart of 68 years, Helen (Sandelowitz) Grossman. They have two daughters, Barbara J. Cannon and Linda M. Grossman, and three granddaughters, Sasha C. Farmer, Cameron G. Cler, and Austen C. Grossman. He is also survived by two siblings, Anne Frevert and Donald Grossman, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his brother, James Grossman.
Frank entered the Air Force at age 18, and served his country through three wars, WWII, Korea, & Vietnam. He flew over 100 reconnaissance missions during the Korean War, and he received many honors and medals during his illustrious career, including three Legion of Merit Awards.
His friends knew him as an excellent golfer, having achieved nine holes in one in his lifetime. His family knew him as a loving, generous, man of utmost integrity who always put his family first.
He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors in the spring of 2017.
