He was born in Electra, Texas on Thursday, June 28, 1928 to Bruce and Della Hindman.
He was a Navy Reservist who transported fuel from various depots in the United States. He worked for Texaco in Electra, Texas and had numerous stations throughout Texas before he retired. After retirement, Freddie and his wife, Kathryn Hindman, moved to Hewitt, Texas, where he worked for the school district as a bus driver.
He retired again and devoted time to his church and family. In January of 2015, he and his wife moved to San Antonio, Texas. They lived at Waterford, on Thousand Oaks, where they enjoyed their wonderful friends. They were married for 67 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Della Hindman, his brother and sister, and his son in law, Bob Stephens.
He is survived by his sons and their wives, Dave Brashears (Ann Marie), Mark Hindman (Mary), his daughters and their husbands, Ann Hollingshead (Gary), Nancy Stephens, his grandchildren and their spouses, Kevin Hollingshead (Crystal), Cheryl Blakely (Justin), Teresa Adkins (Roger), Kelly Hollingshead (Melissa), Leann Ayala (Alex), Jay Stephens, Mike Stephens (Norma), Kim Del Duca (Jason), Matthew Hindman, Haley Meyer (Ryan), his 35 great grandchildren, and his 8 great great grandchildren.
