Gynnell was born on September 1, 1956 to Nellie Mae Davis, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She honorably served in the United States Army for 15 years. Gynnell held a Bachelors of Social Work, an Associate's in Law Enforcement, and a Associates in Criminal Justice. Her education served her well as part of Child Protective Investigations for the CPS. Outside of her work, Gynnell dearly loved her family and was deeply passionate about plants and gardening. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Mae Davis and stepfather, Frank Rudolph.
Gynnell leaves behind to honor her legacy; A loving husband, of 27 years, James M. Lacey, Sons; Jerome L. Nollan, and Darnell Lacey, Daughters; Natasha Heard, and Brittany Lacey, Brothers; Charles Tyler, Demetrius Davis, Franklin Rudolph, and Peter Rudolph, Sister; Anna Rudolph, Grandchildren; Jerome J. Nollan, Jamare L. Nollan, Amira V. Nollan, and Asha L. Nollan.
