Helen Heino Brown passed away July 18, 2020 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a strong Christian woman with a big heart. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in deep and positive ways. Helen was born in Henniker, New Hampshire, one of four sisters and four brothers. At the age of 20 she met her husband of 40 + years, whom she had two beautiful sons. Her husband was in the Air Force, which had them traveling the world as a family, and experiencing all its offerings. She graduated from Southwest University (now Texas State University) with her Bachelor and Masters degree in 1978. She was a reading specialist, where then she devoted 35 years of teaching and guiding students to be successful. Not only did she devote her time to her students but she devoted her time to her family, she as a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother. She truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures such as chatting with friends and family, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a spiritual woman and was involved in many church activities and regularly donated to her favorite programs every single month. She will be deeply missed by family friends and all who had the grace of meeting her. Her funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, July 30 at 2 o'clock. With limited gathering, we will have her closest friends and family members attending.
