He worked 12 years for the San Antonio Independent school district, and worked over 20 years at Turbine Support, a company that made jet engine parts. Isidro earned four electrical certificates that got him recognized for trouble shooting the machines at work. He was a man of faith. He enjoyed dancing, and had rhythm to go with anything. He enjoyed being outdoors, and was a master craftsman who created many things. He had a green thumb, grew fruits and vegetables, and planted many rose bushes and pecan trees that grew in any house he called home. He loved storytelling, stories about his childhood, his military service days, his work days and life experiences he shared with his family and friends.
