

Ismael Jamison Smith, 37, peacefully entered into rest with the Lord on July 14, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1982, in San Antonio, Texas to Sandra and James Smith. Ismael was a 2001 Judson High School graduate and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute receiving a A.S. degree in Drafting and Design. He was a gifted writer and artist and found great joy in being creative. He had a compassionate heart and loved rescuing animals.
He was a loving son, grandson, nephew, and his cousins were like his brothers. Ismael was devoted to his wife, Linette, his daughters, Elyssa, and Raven and son Joseph. He was the proud Godfather to Liam and Lexie Martinez. Family was important to him.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will be forever in our hearts.
Ismael is survived by his wife, Linette Garza, his daughters Elyssa Smith, Raven, his son Joseph, his mother, Sandra Smith, his grandmother, Emilia Khan, his Aunts, Clarice Khan and Barbara Edmonson, his uncle, Yusuf Khan, his cousins, Brandon Edmonson, Julian Edmonson, Gencie Leonard, and his great cousin Koah Edmonson.
