Israel Morales Caraballo

Israel M. Caraballo, age 85, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023. He was born December 18, 1937 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to Jose Maria Caraballo and Juanita Morales Caraballo. Israel proudly served 20 years in the US Air Force until his retirement. He loved his family, but adored his grandchildren, he also had a passion for the Military, sports and was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 32 years, Laura S. Caraballo; children, Israel Caraballo, Jr., Luis Caraballo, Diane Galvez, Arnold Caraballo (Kieralatese); his three grandchildren, Arnez, Katalina, Kameela; sisters, Martha Taylor and Iris Martinez.

A visitation for Israel will be held Monday, January 30, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 6:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 501 North St, Converse, TX 78109. A committal service with Military Honors will follow at 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at Shelter # 3, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
