James Leonard Kidwell

James Leonard Kidwell passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at the age of 60. James was born on October 22, 1952 in Weisbaden, Germany to Leonard and Edna Kidwell. He was a member of the New Vision Community Church of the Nazarene on O’Connor Road and a long time employee of Croft Truck Equipment. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Jaime Babcock and husband Kevin; son, Jason Kidwell; grandson, Kaleb Babcock; granddaughter, June Babcock; sister, Carol Malone and husband Paul; mother of his children, Rachael Kidwell; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday March 15, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM with a funeral service on Saturday March 16 at 3:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors at a later date.

JIM, i always knew I could count on my friend, even if it had been awhile.
im sorry to see you go so soon, but i know...how i know my friend, it is hard to fight the fight forever, and when the Lord is ready, then all is well. You always had a smile for me and i wont forget this..ever...and when its my time to go and the Lord has my place ready, I will remember all the wonderful friends who will be there to greet me......all is well.....all is well.
