My heart is deeply saddened by your loss Mike and Jan's family. She was a kind and thoughtful lady who opened her house to me during my short visit. You both made me feel so welcome. You two made an awesome couple and I know how happy you made each other. You were a blessing to her Mike and vice versa. May you cherish the sweet memories.

Jan was an amazing, kind, compassionate lady who we had the blessing of calling family for the last four years. She made our lives incredibly happier and we will miss her very much. We will miss her contagious laugh, Dallas Cowboy cheering but most of all her friendship and love. We all love her so much. But we are thankful for our time together and all the important days we spent as a family. We are so blessed to call the Howells family.

“Strength & honor are her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.” Proverbs 31:25-26
When I think of Jan, this scripture comes to mind. I remember telling her how much I admired her strength and ability to stay positive, and I truly meant it. In her latter years I watched her body slowly whither but Jan’s beauty remained. Her positivety, kindness and “fighter” mentality drew people to her...it drew me to her. She will always have a place in my heart, her name has been written in a chapter of my book, she touched my life and I’m grateful to have called her neighbor and friend. I’ll see you in heaven woman! ♥️
