Janet Quigley

Janet Rae Quigley quietly passed away May 6, 2017 surrounded by her children and grandchildren at Northeast Baptist Hospital. Janet was born in Salem Oregon to Louis and Ruth McKelvey on July 3, 1933. She is survived by five children and three step-children, Sandy, Collette, Toni, Billy, Becky, Robert, Steve and Ted; 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Janet moved to San Antonio via Kennedy, TX in 1978…she finally found a place she wanted to call home. Janet worked in food service for 53 years. She was a caregiver for the elderly for three years before retiring at age 72.

Janet has a great love for travel with family, she enjoyed gardening, going to the coast, crafts, needlework, singing and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Galen Quigley.

A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Community Church on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
