Jeffrey Scott Walters

MSgt, Jeffrey Scott Walters, USAF, (Retired) age 69, of Live Oak, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2023. He was born February 5, 1954 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to John George Walters and Nancy Marie Balkan Walters.

After graduating High School Jeffrey joined the Air Force and retired from Randolph AFB after 24 years serving from June 1, 1973-June 30, 1997 as a Public Health Superintendent .

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nancy Walters a brother, Gregg Walters.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 40 years, Misuk Walters; sons, Steven Walters, Travis Walters (Tiffany); daughter, Amy Walters; sister, Lesley Walters; grandchildren, Teagan Elizabeth Walters and Travis Bradley Walters II.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Dunlap, Joshua Barnes, Steven Walters, Travis Walters, Victor Solano and Chris Avalos.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 17, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Rd., Universal City, Texas 78148. A committal service with Military Honors for Jeffrey will follow from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
