I met John after I arrived at Randolph AFB. in 1972. He was in chief of MWR Div. Of Special Services. John was the kindest CMS I'd ever met. We became friends and our wives became good friends. We went on trips together, dined together, and became like family. We loved them so much. They were our best friends ever. Maybe they've reunited in heaven, and is awaiting my arrival. Thanks to Almighty God for my wife Ruth, John and Manuela being a great and loving part of my life.

John Brown was my father in law for 37 years. He and his wife, Manuella, were the best in laws anyone could hope to have. I was always treated like a daughter instead of an in law, with loads of love and kindness. Dad Brown, as I called him, would do anything he could do to help his son Keith and I, from the first day of our marriage down to the day Heaven’s Angels came to take him home. I will dearly miss the love and devotion that he gave to me and our children, Jon and Julianne.
