Jose (Joe) G. Garcia “Pito”, died on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the age of 78 years Class of 56. Joe was born in Brownsville, Texas on December 12, 1936 to Manuel R. and Maria Garcia. Jose was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Ricky S. Garcia; He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margarita Saenz Garcia; Children, Anthony S. (Wife, Darlene) Garcia, Edward S. Garcia, Charles S. Garcia, and Jo Michelle (Husband, Jerry) Betterton; Grandchildren, Alyssa, Aaron, Briana, Elena Averi, Aidan, Jordan and Trey. Several Nephews and Niece. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 03, 2015 at Colonial Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. On Wednesday, March 04, 2015 a Mass will be celebrated at St. Monica Catholic Church in Converse, Texas at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
