Jose Andres Rivas

Jose was a loving husband, father, son, brother & friend. He was a passionate and playful man. He enjoyed a good game of Dungeons and Dragons, playing his PlayStation and watching anime. He also enjoyed barbecuing for his family and friends. Being a father is what he loved most of all.

His legacy of love will be carried on by his wife of 7 years, Lisa Pagan; son, Danny Campos; daughters, Sophie Andrea Rivas, Ariel Elise Pagan, Yukki Olivia Rivas, and Emily Campos; father, Jose M. Rivas; brothers, Richard Canet and David Rivas; sisters, Dora Arenas, Diana Rivas, and Jessica Rivas; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Olivia A. Rivas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, followed by a rosary from 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148. A Funeral Mass will occur on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 16075 N Evans Rd, Selma, TX 78154. Graveside Service will occur Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM at San Juan Cemetery, 330 Heinemeyer Rd, Geronimo, TX 78155.

Pallbearers will be Jim Swift (family friend), Rick Stacy (family friend), Brian Canet (nephew), JJ Canet (nephew), Eric Canet (nephew) and James Sanchez (best friend).
