Jose Luis Trevino Sr.

Jose Trevino Sr., passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born in San Antonio Tx. to Federico Lopez Trevino and Petra Robles Trevino. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Trevino, and four children: Jose Trevino, Albert Trevino, Sergio Trevino, and Teresa Trevino. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jose is also survived by his siblings Ramon Trevino, Mary Sanchez, and Alice Reyes.

Jose was a proud graduate of Edgewood High School and Wayland Baptist University. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, achieving the distinguished rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest level of enlisted leadership in the Air Force.

A visitation for Jose will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. A rosary will occur Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 6:30 PM, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. A mass will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Monica's Catholic Church, 501 North Street, Converse, Texas 78109. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 1:45 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
