Kenneth D. Head passed away peacefully March 5, 2015 at the age of 86 in San Antonio, Texas. The family will receive friends at Colonial Funeral Home March 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Military services will be held March 12th, 11:15 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
Kenneth was born August 26, 1928 in Gotebo, Oklahoma. He is preceded by his parents Lee and Opal Head, brother Verlon Head, and sister Wilma Head Crompton. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jutta Lina Head, daughter Diane Head Berger and her husband Allen, granddaughter Lauren and her husband Hunter Headley, grandson Jonathan Berger, brother Bobby Lee Head, and sister Betty Head Webster.
Kenneth served in the U. S. Army for 23 years and Civil Service for 8 years. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was a lifetime member of Schertz VFW. He was a member of 45th Thunderbird Division in Oklahoma City.
