Kelley loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. Her favorite bible verse is Psalms 34:18: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Kelley was an avid softball player, pitching for mixed leagues and women’s league. She enjoyed the art of photography and had an extensive collection of vintage cameras. Kelley loved the outdoors, antiquing, and was very passionate about Girl Power and women’s sports. She was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan and she was a self-proclaimed #1 fan of the Fresno State Bulldogs.
Kelley was preceded in death by her fathers, Harold E. Johnson and Eugene C. Latta. She is survived by her husband, Chris Hernandez; mother, Patricia Johnson; twin sister, Shelley Thomas, and her husband, Charlie Thomas; brother, Dana Latta; sister, Tina Doogs; cousin, Amy Hedger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Kelley’s life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Grace Community Church, 701 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Community Church, designated to the Care Team.
