Dean proudly worked for the National Park Service for nearly 40 years, where he not only traveled across the US but also made lifelong friends.
Dean and his wife Leticia, whom he loved dearly, shared two children, son Chris, daughter Kimberly (and Rodolfo ), 7 grandchildren, Avangelina, Alanah, Athena, Kirsten, Kaitlynn, Christopher Jr and Yumeji 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dean was one of five living siblings and adored his brothers and sisters. If you knew Dean, you knew his love for his family, Jesus, Miller Highlife, Spurs, and the Dallas Cowboys. And to know him was to know kindness and understanding.
Larry Dean will be dearly missed. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 625 Kitty Hawk Road, Universal City, TX 78148, US, on August 10, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. With a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 6:00 pm.
