Laura "Blue" Bonnet passed away into God's hands on Sunday evening May the19th. May her sweet wonderful soul be tenderly cared for by the Angels, and she be in paradise with her Creator. I hope she gets to watch her favorite movie The Princess and the Frog while having a fun hangout with her dear cousin Alan who passed away a few years ago at the age of 31 from scoliosis.
Blue is survived by mother Kim Kelley, father Ted Bonnet, sister Mandelyn “Mandy” Reese, son Aiden (given up for adoption), her partner Nick Amescua, his daughter Emma, grandmother Rosetta Kelley, aunt & uncle Darleen & Brad Dorr, uncles Gary, Bobby, & Brian Bonnet, cousins Brandon & Caleb Bonnet, cousins John, Amber, Jordan, & Emily Dorr. And all of her beloved friends and pets. Laura "Blue" Bonnet, age 30, of Selma, Texas passed away on Sunday May 19, 2019. "Blue" was born March 19, 1989 in San Antonio, Texas.
Blue was a masterful cook, amazing makeup artist, and wonderful daughter, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She will be sorely and dearly missed. Our hearts are broken over this tragic loss.
She loved her fur babies as well as all of those close to her. She would have wanted everyone to be able to attend the memorial, so we as a family want to open our hearts and the memorial to anyone who'd like to come pay their last wishes and respects. Please feel free to bring flowers, cards, and letters to Blue and/or her family. We also encourage wearing blue and other happy bright colors instead of the traditional black. But also wear whatever feels right for you!
We have also set up a GoFundMe page to help cover some of the funeral expenses. If you can spare even a small amount to help us give Blue the celebration of life that she deserves we would greatly appreciate it.
