Leone Gomez

Leone M. Gomez age 88 passed away January 20, 2018. She was born October 31, 1929 in New Braunfels, Texas to Anselmo and Gregoria (Rojas) Mosqueda. She is preceded in death by her parents; Beloved husband Silvestre; son-in-law, Francisco Garza; grandson, Robert Paul Gomez; great grandson, Daniel Garza; brothers, Henry Mosqueda, Tony Mosqueda, Manuel Mosqueda and sister, Josie Arroyo. Survivors include her daughters, Dolores Benavidez (Edmundo), Esther Saldivar (Alejo), Yolanda Gomez, Juanita Garza, Cynthia DeLeon, and son, Robert Gomez (Pam); siblings, Agapito Mosqueda, Rosa Maldonado, Lus Garrison, Anselmo Mosqueda, Jr., and Victor Mosqueda; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Helena’s Catholic Church, 14714 Edgemont Street, San Antonio, Texas 78247. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
