My deepest sympathy for your insurmountable loss. Linda was such an amazing woman. Her kindness, compassion, empathy, and caring will always be remembered. She is very dear to me and will remain so in all my memories. 

Ken and family - condolences on the loss of Linda.  Ken shared many stories about his family and Linda at work, and his face always lights up when he talks about his loved ones.  I know she will be missed!

I taught first grade with Linda at Montgomery.  She was always so calm and had the kindest heart and loved everyone!  She shared so many stories about her family, children, and loving husband.  The love just poured out of her beautiful eyes.  A funny story...there were 10 teachers on first grade when I taught with her.  Linda was the grade level chair.  We always knew it was going to be a long, important meeting when she made brownies for us.  She later told us that she needed our mouths full with brownies, so she had a chance to relay all of the information.  Rest In Peace, Lima Bean!!

When reflecting back over a 36 year friendship it is not an easy thing to  recall just  one or two moments in time.  Many memories.  A few adventures.  Many laughs.   A few tears.
That being said, I've chosen to share a couple of very recent memories because I think they best epitomize the character of Linda, even as she was fighting the battle of her life.
The first moment occurred about three weeks ago, when I was unsure whether I should send something to her in a text.  Her comment to me was, "When in doubt Gary, go with your heart.  So I did, much like I'm doing now.  See,  I think Linda did that in her own life.  Went with her heart.  And because she "went with her heart", she was able to capture ours.  She made us love her!
A day or so later, on a very dreary Monday, a card from Linda and Ken made its way to our mailbox.  Inside was a Valentine's Day card saying "Thinking of Us" on Valentine's Day.  Again,  while  fighting the battle of her life,  here she was,  thinking of us.  Inside the card was a simple scripture.  It said, "Let us love one another, for love comes from God. ( I John 4:7)    Linda lived by those words.  Even in her final days and hours, to the moment He took her Home, she continued to serve and honor her Lord showing care and love for others and Him.   And we were the better for it.

I am two weeks older than Linda. We would joke every year how for two week we are the same age. I also had a nick name for all the beans. Ken was the King Bean and Linda was the Queen Bean.
On a recent vacation trip to Maine, I stopped and took a picture of this sign and sent it to Linda . A true inspiration, I will miss her.

Ken, my thoughts are with you and your family as you grieve the loss of your loved one. I pray that as your family processes this loss, you continue to walk through it together and find strength in one another. May you also find comfort in the memories you shared with Linda and the loving legacies that will always remain.  Sending my deepest condolences to the Bean family.

Linda had the most beautiful  singing voice.  I always looked forward to the Sunday’s she did the special music.   Ken I am so sorry and shocked to learn of Linda’s passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you during this

Linda is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Kenneth Bean of Live Oak; children Kristen and husband Travis Franzen, Karen and husband David Duggan, and John and wife Celeste Bean; parents John C. and Helen Everhart; sisters Carolyn (Jack) Ewig, and Pam James; grandchildren Brayden, Andrew, Peyton, Luke, Aynslee, Philip, Penelope, Piper, Mark, and Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
