
Linda J Mollicone, 73, was reunited with her husband, Jim, of 53 years on July 2, 2014. She was born on May 18, 1941 in Harlingen, Texas and it was in Harlingen where she met the Love of her Life “in uniform” while selling tickets at the “show” The Arcadia Theater.
She was the rock, anchor, guidepost, and lighthouse for the family and an amazing woman of talents: Officer’s Wife, Mom, Grandma, Culinary Artist, Musician, Seamstress, Bus Driver and Cafeteria Supervisor at St. Monica Catholic School, and most recently Quilter.
Linda is survived by her four children Theresa and husband Bill, Mike and wife Debbie, Michelle and husband Wayne, Marc and wife Sonya. Her eight grandchildren James II, Lauren, Tayler, Caroline, Michael, Meghan, Mitchell, and Mason. Her brother Donny Hougland and Sister-in-law Connie of Houston, Texas.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, July 8, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home’s Chapel. There will be an 11:00 A.M. Mass on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at St. Monica Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions may be made to the Converse Animal Shelter, Inc.
