

Lorraine, accompanied her husband moving first to San Antonio, then back to the North East, then to Okinawa, next to the nation’s capital, eventually ending up in south Texas, where she spent her remaining years. During her early years she traveled and lived in the caves of Mexico, crossed the Atlantic to Germany, later to Ireland to meet her husband’s relatives, then last year took a 2600 mile bone jarring RV trip to Sedona to visit her youngest grandchild. Lorraine loved to cook. She had over 250 cook books preparing simple meals as well as extraordinary gourmet meals. She once hosted a Murder Mystery dinner serving Beef Wellington. Mrs. McCutcheon is survived by her husband Lt. Colonel James Duff McCutcheon Jr.; sons: Robert McCutcheon and Jeffery McCutcheon; grandchildren: D’Arcy Bishop, Joshua McCutcheon, Meghan Kincheloe, Sarah Hendricks; and great grandchildren: Colin and Brooke Bishop and Cormac and Hazel Kincheloe. Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a service at 7:00 P.M. at Colonial Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:15 A.M.
