Louella Marie Putney Ward

Louella Marie Ward passed away on March, 19, 2011 at the age of 76. She was born on June 2, 1934 in Lawton, Oklahoma to John and Ethel Putney. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia Mendez; daughter, Mary Cloy Ward. Survived by her loving husband of 59 years, CMSgt. William B. Ward U.S. Air Force, Retired; sons Brock Ward, wife Cindy; Kevin Ward, wife Teddie; grandchildren Rachel Ward, Jacob Ward and Zachary Ward; sisters, Ann Pittman, husband Don; Mary Jean Green; brother, John J. Putney, wife Cassie; sister-in-law, Victoria McGriff, husband Guy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lu worked at the Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union for thirty five and a half years. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 27th at 2:30 at 1612 Willow Top Dr, Schertz, TX. A visitation will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.–9:00 P.M. and the funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 12:45 P.M. at the Colonial Funeral Home Chapel, U.C. TX. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.
