Lucia G. Gonzales Cano

Born in La Feria, TX, December 15, 1932 Lucia Gonzales Cano was called home peacefully by the Lord on Monday March 21, 2011 at the age of 78. She is preceded in death by her parents, Isabel and Estefana Gonzales; brothers, Alfredo and Lazaro Gonzales; sister, Petra Gonzales. She is survived by her husband, Victor Cano of 60 years this past January. Their four children, Enedilia Juarez, Melba Cano Benson, Norma Cano Valdez and husband Tony Valdez and Victor Cano, Jr; eight grandchildren, Christine Elizabeth Juarez, J. Armando Juarez, Gabriel Orlando Juarez, Vicente Gervacio Guerrero and Wife Paula Yuma Guerrero, Chelsea Cano, Candice Cano Benson, Hunter Cano and David Valdez; Great grandchildren, Alexandria Juarez-Smith and number one on the way. Sisters, Francis Garza, Amelia Baron and Maria Campion; Brother Efren Gonzales. A visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass Will be held at St. Monicas Catholic Church on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Interment to Follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at 11:15 A.M.
