

Lucille Reimann Boecker, 87, of Converse, passed away peacefully holding Allen’s hand on April 29, 2012. Lucille was born to Bernhard and Olga, nee Baumann, on July 12, 1924 in Converse Texas. Lucille attended Converse schools. On March 25, 1944 she married the love of her life, Allen Boecker. They enjoyed 68 years of love, friendship, and fun. Lucille and Allen loved to dance, go gambling, play bunco and just enjoy being with family and good friends. During her working years she was a cashier at Randolph Air Force Base BX and later worked at Sterling Downey Sales in San Antonio. Lucille is survived by her husband, Allen; her son Brian, and daughter in law Laura, from Groesbeck; her daughter, Garnette and husband Dale Klingsporn of Marble Falls; her sister Rena Dreyer, from Marion, and her brother, Wallace Reimann and wife Evaleen from Spring Branch; and her sister in law Verlin Schubert from Kingsburg. Lucille is also survived by her grandchildren who she loved very dearly. Morgan and her husband, Nathan Sundberg of Frisco, Jordan, Lauren and Logan Boecker of Groesbeck; Walker and Emily Klingsporn of Marble Falls. Lucille is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Lucille and Allen were also blessed with many close and loving friends, some who are left to mourn her passing and many that will be welcoming her into heaven. Lucille was baptized, confirmed and married at St Paul’s Evangelical Church, in Cibolo Texas. Also for many years she taught Sunday school. Almost every Sunday, until Lucille wasn’t able, you could find the Boeckers seated on the right side of the church in the pews near the front. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery.
