Lucille Riedel

Lucille Riedel passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born on December 2, 1923 in New Braunfels, Texas to Charles and Frieda (Ott) Friesenhahn. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for over 60 years, owner of Riedel’s Furniture and Appliance in Schertz, and was a 50 year member Beta Sigma Phi. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Odo Riedel. She is survived by her children, JoMarie Clark (husband Herbert), Nancy Dugie (husband Clarence); grandchildren, Nancy Jo Achilles (husband Jerry), Bradley Clark (wife Courtney), Melissa Teeler, Chad Dugie (wife Deanne), Jonathan Dugie (wife Shelby), Clarice Waters (husband John); great grandchildren, Jordan Achilles, Kendall Achilles, Taylor Clark, Jackson Clark, Hunter Teeler, Jack Riley Dugie, J.T. Waters, Hannah Waters; brother, Jerome Friesenhahn (wife Shirley), and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday June 2 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma.
