Marc Christopher Shepperson
June 28, 1962 – October 16, 2014

Marc Christopher Shepperson, age 52, passed away on October 16th 2014 in Columbus Mississippi. He was born on June 28th 1962 on Sheppard AFB, in Wichita Falls Texas to Wendall A. and Dorothy L. (Robinson) Shepperson. Marc was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister, Stephen Shepperson and Stephanie Shepperson . He is survived by his sister Mia Igwebuike, and spouse Steve of Round Rock, Texas; his son Christopher Agens and daughter Caitlin Shepperson, of Kirby, Texas; son Ethan Shepperson of Converse Texas; and niece Mina Igwebuike of Round Rock Texas.
Marc graduated from Crockett High School in Austin Texas in 1980, and joined the service in 1984 serving in the USAF and later joining the 433 AES, Air Force Reserve unit on Kelly AFB. He retired from the Air Force Reserves in 2008, and worked as a civilian employee on Columbus AFB. Marc spent more than half his life serving his country in one form or another and loving it, He saw many places and met many lifelong friends along the way. Marc was also a dedicated brother, father, and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
The Family will receive visitors Tuesday, November 4, from 5:00 until 9:00 PM, at Colonial Funeral Home. A memorial will be held at Northeast Church of Christ in Converse Texas on Wednesday November 5 at 10 AM. Interment will be on Wednesday, November 05, 11:30 AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
