First Baptist Academy celebrates the 25 years of faithful service of Mrs. Margaret Echols. Over these many years, Mrs. Echols has touched the lives of students in such a way that they return year after year just to see her and get a hug. She has given immeasurable love and guidance to hundreds of students as she served as Assistant Director of our Extended Learning and Sounds, of Summer programs. While Mrs. Echols may be tiny in stature, she is mighty in her devotion to our Lord, and the children He has sent for her to love and care for. First Baptist Academy has been blessed beyond measure by Mrs. Echols and we salute her dedication, and treasure how she has touched each of our lives. A celebration of her life hosted by her grandchildren Kyle and Kayla Lewis and her numerous immediate and surrogate family and friends will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, 1401 Pat Booker Road, Universal City, Texas 78148. Please show your support and wear blue. Interment will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to First Baptist Academy in Margaret E. Echols’ name for a new playground for all of her children, she so dearly loved, to enjoy.
