

Marilyn was born in Susquehanna PA to Allan and Mollie Rosendale of Montrose PA on August 2, 1929. She was raised in Montrose where she met her husband of 51 years Arthur S. Richards during college and were married on 16 June 1950.
Marilyn was a devoted military spouse, balancing the roles of wife and mother during numerous military moves while raising five children and assisting with the raising of three grandchildren. She loved her horses and dogs, with the dogs always having a special place in her home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and two of her sons, Arthur and Scott Richards.
She is survived by a third son, Dan Richards, and two daughters, Mollie and Pam Richards; Additionally she leaves behind six grandchildren, Brenan and Dane Richards (Dan’s children), Michael Richards (Scott’s son), and Lauren, Jessica and Rachel McMurray (Pam’s daughters), and five great-grandchildren, Diana Kane (Brenan’s daughter), Payton (Lauren’s daughter) and Karlee, Chloe, and Wyatt (Jessica’s two daughters and son).
