Here's to the day Uncle Marty took us to Sea World and we spent the day goofing around in the hot Texas sun. We had such a great time that weekend. Marty will forever be remembered as my goofy, crazy uncle. Rest well and be in peace Uncle Marty. Love, your nephew.

April 5th was one of the saddest of my life. My sweet and loving brother passed away. I was the fortunate one. To share so many deep yet happy and crazy years with him. He left a light in my soul that will never grow dim. I'm glad I made the trip to San Antonio recently to be by his side while we could still laugh, he could tell me to quit bugging him, and we could share our last hugs and kisses together. He wasn't a rich man but in my eyes he was. He was soft, kind, funny, loving and a humble man. Riches many people don't own. He was unique, and touched many lives. My heart aches for one last phone call from him to see how I'm doing, or just to check in to say hi. We did that often. God was good to him. Let him leave us peacefully without the suffering from his Parkinson's and diabetes. For that love I am forever grateful. I shall cherish the special memories we created together for my lifetime. I shall miss him every day. Love you Markin!

I love you with all my heart Papa. With you watching over me I know that everything is going to be alright. You are the strongest person I know and you put up a great fight. That's exactly what you were GREAT, nothing less than. It's going to be so hard to keep going without you here physically but I know you with be with me in my heart. I know I only have to look up into the sky and you'll be there looking down helping lead me through life.

You will always be in my heart, now, always and forever.
