Marvin George Novak died on January 17th, 2016 at the age of 82. He was born in Canby, Minnesota on April 11th, 1933 to George and Mae Novak. Marv is preceded in death by his parents, son Dale Novak (Jo), and step-son Edward Rindeikis (LeeAnn). He is survived by his wife JoAnne Paisley Novak, son Dean Novak (Ruth), daughters JaLinda Novak, LaCinda Lee and Charlotte Plaia (John), step-sons Kenneth Rindeikis (Cheryl), and Richard Rindeikis; step-daughters Jeanne Buchhorn (Alan), Janet Wulf (Edgar), and Mary Harris (Alan); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Leonard Novak (JoAnn), Loren Novak (Beverly), and Randy Novak (Clarice); and several nieces and nephews. Marv served 20 years in the Air Force, retiring in 1973. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 8102 Midcrown, San Antonio, Texas 78239.
